There could be good news concerning the San Jacinto Bridge on I-10. Work is
underway to combine eastbound and westbound traffic onto one side of the
freeway. I-10 at that locationcould be partially reopened at that location as
early as tomorrow morning. The bridge was damaged when barges broke loose
striking pillars during tropical storm Imelda.
