Tex-Dot says work on the damaged San Jacinto River Bridge on I-10will take a few months
to repair. The bridge was damaged when barges broke loose during Tropical Storm Imelda
and struck the bridge. Traffic has been shifted to the eastbound side. Work could take as
long as March before the bridge is fully reopened.
