Two men are jailed after stealing a pickup and trailer from a convenience store yesterday.
The driver of the truck unknowingly dropped his keys as he was walking in to the store in
the 4800 block of Concord. Two men grabbed the keys and fled the scene. Following about
a 15 minute chase with police, the two were arrested at the intersection of 10th and
McFadden when police used a spike strip to stop the vehicle. Both suspects were transported
to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
