A $750,000 bond has been set on a woman charged with murder. 23-year old Amesty Haley
Smith is charged with Saturday’s stabbing death of 24-year old Gerald Taylor. The stabbing
occurred at the Pebble Creek Apartments on Jimmy Johnson Blvd. in Port Arthur. Smith
remains in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
