The DPS reports a Kountze man was killed in a one-vehicle wreck yesterday in Hardin County.
55-year old Charles Edward Groze Jr. was traveling west on FM 420, 10 miles north of
Kountze, when he lost control of his pickup and crashed. Groze was pronounced dead at the
scene. Two passengers, 21-year old Quinton Ruso of Buna and 19-year old Caleb Jay of
Silsbee, were both transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A third
passenger, 18-year old Dylan Leviness of Silsbee, was treated and released at the scene.
