A mother of two is dead following a shooting in Port Arthur. Police report 22-year old Jasmine
Newman,ofPort Arthur, was one of four people that were shot early yesterday morning in the
1100 block of Vicksburg. The other three victims were treated and released. Newman, who was
pronounced dead at the scene was an innocent bystander. Anyone with any information is asked
