Gas prices are down a penny from last week. This morning’s average price in the Beaumont/Port
Arthur area is $2.23 a gallon. The statewide average dropped a penny to $2.25 a gallon. No
change across the nation as the national average for a gallon of gas is $2.61. These averages are
