A Beaumont man has been convicted and sentenced to life in prison for murder. 40-year
old Herbert Collins gunned down 29-year old Bradison Mims, of Beaumont, in October of
2018 on Delaware Street in Beaumont. Collins used an AK47-style rifle to stand over Mims
and shot over 20 rounds at him. Several witnesses identified Collins as the shooter. Mims died
from 12 gunshot wounds.
