FEMA has announced they will be closing the Disaster Recovery Center in Liberty today. The
deadline to register for assistance from Tropical Storm Imelda is one week from today,
December 3rd. DRC’s are located in Beaumont at 1310 Pennsylvania, at the Orange County
Convention & Expo Center on FM 1442, and at the Winnie-Stowell Community Building in
Chambers County. Hours are Monday-Saturday from 8:00 to 6:00.
