No change in the price of a gallon of gas in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area over the past week
as the average price stayed at $2,21. A year ago on this date we were paying $2.07 a gallon.
The statewide average is up three cents to $2.24. This morning’s national average is $2.56,
which is down two cents.
