Seventeen year old Corey Spencer was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for the murder of 19-year-
old Kera Teel and her unborn child in 2017.Spencer had pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and
aggravated robbery in connection with the shooting at a Beaumont apartment complex. There were
two others involved however Spencer admitted to shooting Teel. He was 14 at the time he shot Teel.
Spencer has a criminal history dating back to when he was ten.
