The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting. A teen was transported to
Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont following the shooting at a trailer park off of
Highway 96 in north Buna. At this time it appears the gun may have been discharged by a
10-year old child. No other information has been released.
