A man is hospitalized with numerous stab wounds following an altercation in Beaumont
last night. Police were called to a home in the 3100 block of Waverly where they learned
the victim was stabbed by his girlfriend’s husband. The stabbing victim was listed in critical
condition, but the stab wounds are not life threatening. The suspect suffered a hand injury
after being struck by a tire iron. Due to lack of witnesses and conflicting stories, an arrest
has not been made as the investigation continues.
