Lumberton police have released the name of a woman that died after being struck by a vehicle
on New Years Eve. 30-year old Lesley Jayne Hansen, of Lumberton, walked in front of
oncoming traffic on Highway 96, near Lumberton Middle School. She was transported to a
Beaumont hospital where she died. The driver of the car was not hurt,
