A former electrician, convicted of defrauding the Beaumont Independent School District, has
been ordered to pay $1.2 million in restitution. Judge John Stevens ordered that amount to be
paid by Calvin Walker. After his conviction last year, Walker was sentenced to 180 days in
jail. The jail time is being served on weekends.
