252nd District Court Judge Raquel West has issued a warrant on a man that was found not
guilty by reason of insanity for the mutilation murder of his mother in Beaumont in 1994. Millet
Harrison was released from the Rusk State Hospital in 2015 and ordered to take outpatient
treatment. Yesterday, Judge West ordered Harrison to return to Rusk for a review of his
medication compliance and treatment plan.
