Two people are jailed after drugs and cash were found in their luggage as they were
about to board a plane at the Jacks Brooks Regional Airport. 41-year old Nelson Brown, of
Beaumont, and 27-year old Cynthia Daniels, of Fort Worth, fled from the terminal with a
toddler. They were apprehended near the airport. The luggage contained over $62,000 cash
and more than eight pounds of marijuana. Brown and Daniels are charged with possession.
The toddler was turned over to family members.
