A man is hospitalized following an officer involved shooting in Beaumont. Police were called to
the 2700 block of Atlanta yesterday afternoon after receiving calls about a man walking in front
of a house firing shots. Police encountered the man and shots were fired injuring the suspect. No
officers were injured. The incident remains under investigation.
