A man is jailed following a pursuit that started in Lumberton and ended in Beaumont. The
Houston man is accused of stealing a TV from the Lumberton Wal-Mart, then leading
police on a chase that ended with the driver turning into the Tracewood Apartments on
Concord Drive. He tried to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended. It was learned the
suspect was on parole for two other theft charges.
