By a 6-0 vote, the Beaumont city council has censured Ward 2 Councilman Mike Getz for
explicit comments he made towards City Attorney Tyrone Cooper. The remarks were made
during a meeting in the office of City Manager Kyle Hayes. Getz did apologize for the choice
of words he used.
