Beaumont police report one person was killed in a two vehicle wreck in the 6600 block of
Eastex Freeway yesterday afternoon. The wreck closed the northbound lanes of the freeway for
more than two hours. The name of the fatality victim has not been released. The fatality remains
under investigation.
