Beaumont police are investigating a weekend fatality. 27-year old Breanna Wright, of
Beaumont, was reportedly traveling the wrong way on I-10, in front of the Merit Inn,
when her car collided with oncoming SUV. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The
driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The wreck happened
early Saturday morning.
