+There are now 418 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the six Southeast Texas county area. 238 cases have been reported in Jefferson County, 92in Hardin County, 64 in Orange County, 16 in Jasper County, 6 in Tyler County, and 2 in Newton County. There have been 20 Coronoavirus related deaths.
+The city of Beaumont has reported 167 positive COVID-19 cases. There are 175 in the Beaumont jurisdiction, which includes Fannett, Cheek, China, and Nome. Of those testing positive, 80 are males and 95 are females. 64 of the positive cases are residents between the ages of 51 and 70. There have been 3 positive cases of children under 10. There have been 12 death related COVID-19 cases in Beaumont.
+13 more positive COVID-19 cases were reported across the six county region yesterday.Jefferson County had 10 more cases, 2 in Jasper County, Orange and Hardin counties each reported one more positive case. Newton and Tyler counties did not have any additional positive tests.
+The Southeast Texas Call Center is in operation daily between the hours of 8:00 am-8:00pm... Remember, you must call 409-550-2536 to be screened before you can be tested at one of the two testing sites in Southeast Texas. There have been 5,135 calls to the center since it began operation on March 20th. 2,885 people have been tested at one of the two testing sites in Southeast Texas.

+Military Mobile COVID-19 Testing Team will be conducting a one day operation in Orange County this Tuesday April 28,2020. They will conduct the COVID-19 testing from 9am to 6pm located at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center; 11475 FM 1442; Orange, Texas 77630. You will need to call (512) 883-2400 or email TXCOVIDTEST.ORG to set up an appointment for testing. The hotline will NOT begin taking calls or emails until 10am on Sunday April 26,2020.
