The city of Beaumont, in an effort to allow restaurants to re-open under Governor Abbott’s
order, is now allowing restaurants to use their parking lots for additional seating area, through
the application and approval of a temporary outdoor restaurant permit. This permit will not
increase of the maximum business occupancy number, but will allow for more flexibility in
