Gas prices are on the rise. This morning’s average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area is
$1.61 a gallon, which is up three cents from last week.The statewide average is up five cents
to $1.60 a gallon. Triple A Texas reports the national average for a gallon is $1.94, which is
up eight cents from last Friday.
