The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont man for murder. 33-year old Zachary
Kapel is charged with the April 26th shooting death of 31-year old Shane Jones. The shooting
occurred at a residence in the 7700 block of Stonetown Road in Beaumont. Jones died at the
scene. Kapel left and then returned to the scene where he was arrested.
