A woman has been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury for murder. 33-year old
Lachrisha Renae Abshire, who is listed as a transient, is charged with the May 13th stabbing
death of Taylor Rodriguez. Rodriguez’s body was found in a wooded area in the 5000 block
of Twin City Highway in Port Arthur. The investigation revealed the two were involved in an
altercation prior to the stabbing.
