The DPS is asking for your help in solving a cold case murder. In January of 1995, the body
of 31-year old Mary Catherine Edwards in her home on Park Meadow Street in Beaumont.
She had been sexually assaulted and drowned in her bathtub. A $6,000 reward is being offered
for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for Edwards’ death. The state Crime
