Beaumont police have released the name of a man that was killed in a wreck on Eastex Freeway
Tuesday afternoon. 40-year old Charles Edward WootenJr., of Beaumont, was traveling south,
near Cole Road, when he lost control, struck the guardrail and another vehicle. Wooten’s vehicle
rolled over ejecting him. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
