BISD has received notice that a staff member who works at Blanchette Elementary tested
positive for COVID-19. The employee was on campus and involved in meal distribution this
past Wednesday, July 15th. During the distribution the employee wore a mask and gloves,
followed frequent sterilization measures and did not come in direct contact with any member
of the public. Blanchette Elementary campus is closed for a deep cleaning and will reopen on
Monday.
