Port Arthur police are investigating a shooting. A naked man knocked on the door of an
apartment yesterday at Avery Trace Apartments on Twin City Highway. A female opened
the door and the man walked in without permission. The woman shot the man. He was
transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. No charges have been
filed as the case will be turned over to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.
