Beaumont police a 50-year old man was struck and killed by a pickup yesterday on I-10.
Police say Mark Parkerson, a transient, attempted to cross the interstate near Sam’s Club
when he was hit. Parkerson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup
was transported to Baptist Hospital for treatment.
