Beaumont police have released the name of a man that was struck and killed by a train
in the area of Helbig Road and Nathan Drive Wednesday night. 34-year old Ronnie Pratt,
of Beaumont was walking alongside the tracks when he was struck. Personnel on the train
signal numerous times and Pratt did not move at which point he was strick by the tain. An
autopsy has been ordered.
