Texas Governor Greg Abbott is extremely confident the state has plenty of personal protection equipment for the upcoming school year. The governor says Texas has distributed more than 170-million-dollars worth of PPE since the start of the pandemic. Abbott says school districts have already received 59-million in masks, plus thousands in face shields, hand sanitizers, and thermometers. He adds more supplies are going out to help other school districts. Abbott believes PPE will be especially important this fall when flu season starts.
