The DPS has released the name of a man that was struck and killed by a pickup on Highway
73 in Jefferson County Sunday night. 39-year old Craig Strange, of Baytown, wrecked his
car, got out of the wrecked vehicle, walked in the highway, and was hit. Strange was
pronounced dead at the scene. The 31-year old Beaumont man driving the pickup was not
hurt.
