Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated robbery. The 711 store in the 500 block of
Washington was robbed just past 1:00 this morning. The robber fled the area before police
arrived. The clerk was not hurt. Just past 11:00 last night there was an attempted aggravated
robbery at the Valero on Highway 105, near Eastex Freeway. The robber was unable to get
