At last report, Port Arthur police were conducting a death investigation. On Friday, a body was
pulled from some water in the 2800 block of MLK. The body was transported to the Jefferson
County Morgue for an autopsy. The incident is under investigation by the Criminal Division of
the Port Arthur Police Department. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Southeast
