Beaumont police are investigating a shooting that occurred just before 3:00 this morning
in the 2600 block of Houston. The victim told police he was riding with the suspect and as he
exited the car, the suspect begin firing shots at him striking him in the leg. The victim told
police the suspect goes by “Q” and was driving a white car. The gunshot wound is not life
threatening.
