A federal grand jury in Beaumont has convicted a Port Neches doctor of 12
counts of health care fraud. 43-year old Grigoriy Rondonaia was convicted for
issuing prescriptions for specially compounded scar creams using the names, dates
of birth, and health insurance claim number if TRICARE beneficiaries. These
prescriptions were issued with the consultation with the patients or their knowledge.
He issued over 600 prescriptions of approximately 140 beneficiaries. He faces up
to 10 years in federal prison for each count.
