Beaumont police have made a second arrest in connection with Monday morning’s
aggravated robbery and homicide at the Timberlake Apartments in the 100 of I-10.
21-year old Demarcus Dante Powell was taken into custody yesterday. 22-year old
Jacory Blue was arrested the morning of the crimes. 51-year old Ron Guillory was
shot and killed during a robbery outside the apartment. Powell and Blue are also
suspects in an aggravated robbery that occurred on the I-10 service road near the
complex. Both are charged with aggravated robbery and are facing additional
charges.
