A Beaumont man is jailed charged with breaking into a church. Police responded to an alarm
at the Christ Outreach Ministry in the 2800 block of Magnolia this morning. The suspect was
arrested in the parking lot of the church carrying various items stolen from the church. 53-year
old Paul Jay Reed has been charged with burglary of a building.
