Beaumont police want to talk to two persons of interest in connection with a Sunday morning
homicide. Police were called to the 1600 block of Glasshouse around 2:45 yesterday morning
and found 25-year old Jacoby Jackson, who had died from a gunshot wound. A 20-year old was
transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Police want to speak with
Deshaun Manuel, who also goes by Deshaun Matthews, and Joseph Matthews about the

A man is jailed following a Sunday afternoon fatal shooting in Beaumont. The shooting occurred
at the Plymouth Village Apartments in the 5000 block of Helbig. The victim, 26-year old Tevin
Moore, of Beaumont, was dead at the scene. The suspect, 21-year old Davion Mason, turned
himself in and following questioning was arrested for murder. His bond has been set at
$1 million.
