Beaumont police have a man in custody for murder. 37-year old Donald Bryan Cooper is
charged with the stabbing death of 48-year old Creighton Landrio. The stabbing occurred
yesterday near an apartment complex in the 2100 of McFaddin. The stabbing resulted from
a long standing dispute between the two men. Cooper was arrested at the scene. This was
Beaumont’s third homicide since Sunday.
