Port Arthur police have released the name of a man that was shot and killed during a home
invasion robbery Sunday night in the 2500 block of 18th Street. 27-year old Terrance Ellis is
one of three men accused of forcing their way into the home. The homeowner, confronted the
intruders with a rifle to protect his family. Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene. The other
two intruders fled the scene. Detectives are investigating the incident.
