A Beaumont man faces up to life in federal prison. 34- year old Rustin Chase McKinsey, also
known as “Dollar Bill” pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm duringa drug trafficking crime
and being a felon in possession of a firearm. This past September and October, Beaumont police
responded to shootings at a residence on Taylor Street. McKinsey was arrested following the
second shooting and admitted he shot both victims over a drug debt. He will be sentenced on a
later date.
