Detectives with the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that left one dead
and another injured. Deputies were called to a home yesterday on FM 1943 in Fred in reference
about a stolen car out of Hardin County. When they arrived, a gunshot victim was transported to
a Beaumont hospital where he died. No names have been released.
