Beaumont police have released the name of a man that was struck and killed on Eastex Freeway
Monday night. 28-year old Herman Alexander, of Beaumont, was riding his bike in the middle of
the northbound lanes when he was struck be a northbound vehicle. Alexander was transported to
the hospital where he died.
