Gas prices continue to increase. Triple A Texas reports the average price in the Beaumont/Port
Arthur area is $2.17 a gallon, which is up four cents from last week. The statewide average is
up five cents to $2.21. This morning’s national average for a gallon of gas is up five cents to
$2.50 a gallon.
