The DPS is asking citizens not to use recreational vehicles, such and skis and sleds on public roadways, bridges, and overpasses. Vehicles and first responders are still utilizing many roadways and the ability for a driver to stop is difficult.
+At last report, several bridges and overpasses remained closed. This includes the Rainbow Bridge, the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge, and the MLK Bridge leading to Pleasure Island. And in Beaumont, the Maury Meyers Bridge and the Dowlen Road and Linbergh overpasses. For road updates, go to drivetexas.org.
