Gas prices continue to rise. This morning’s average price for a gallon in the Beaumont/Port
Arthur area is $2.43, which is up six cents.The statewide average jumped eight cents to
$2.48 a gallon. The national average is $2.75 cents a gallon, which is up six cents. These
